If you're on the hunt for a boozy brunch in NYC... look no further than Oscar Wilde in Noho.
Every person living in New York City wants to find one thing... the city's best brunch. You may think I'm joking, but when there's a new brunch hotspot taking NYC by storm, you are lucky to get your foot in the door for months. I had heard around town and seen on Instagram that Oscar Wilde NYC was known for its extravagant decor and brunch atmosphere. Of course, I had to check it out for myself. I was shocked at how easily my roommate and I got a reservation for a Saturday early afternoon brunch about a week out. With COVID, the seating in a lot of restaurants has continued to stay at a limited capacity even as the restrictions are being lifted. As soon as I walked in the doors of Oscar Wilde, I was blown away by the vibrant and beautiful decorations that covered the restaurant from floor to ceiling. Bright pink flowers

and lights were twinkling, and the DJ was hyping up brunch with Dua Lipa remixes. Honestly, it was an Instagram dream. I was not afraid to snap a few pictures (plus take an entire viral tiktok you can watch HERE). My roommate and I were seated near a gigantic old bar that by itself was picturesque. Oscar Wilde has a brunch specials that include a bottle of champagne and orange juice for $35. Sounds expensive, but when you price out drinks individually, splitting a bottle for $35 is a great deal in NYC. We both ordered the Eggs Benedict with a side of fries, and it was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly, and everyone eating there was feeling the brunch party vibe. I left Oscar Wilde with a full belly and happy heart.
