Sweat Off the Quarantine Stress for FREE

Missing the gym but haven’t been able to find a sweat worthy workout while stuck inside? Try these online workouts that don’t cost you a dime.

Everyone has been talking about the “quarantine glow-up” or the “quarantine 15”. I swear every Tik Tok and Instagram post I swipe past on my screen has something to do with a workout that motivates me or food that makes me want to run to my pantry looking for snacks. It’s a frustrating time for all of the people like myself who use the gym as their source of stress relief.

In an attempt to find a solution to this problem, I polled my Instagram followers for some much needed recommendations. I asked them about their favorite sources for workouts during the stay-at-home order. Here are the top answers from the poll that I tried out for myself. All I can say is... prepare to be sore after doing these workouts.

1. Chloe Ting – YouTube

Chloe Ting is a health and fitness YouTuber who has skyrocketed to viral fame with her “Get Abs in 2 Weeks” and her “Best Full Body Workout to Lose Fat” videos. I had heard of

Chloe before from my younger sister, and my Instagram poll was flooded with suggestions of her workout for the best fat burn. Her workouts are not for the faint of heart, and you will be sweating buckets by the time you’re done with her full body workout. These workouts build your strength while using muscles you didn’t even know you had. You can find them all on her YouTube channel for free! Chloe Ting

2. obé Fitness – One Month Free Trail

Obé fitness is a digital workout program that live streams and archives classes from all different genres of fitness. This was a very popular answer from my New York followers since the company is based out of Dumbo, Brooklyn. If you’re a big fan of instructors who are motivated and high-energy classes then this is the program for you. They have thousands of classes on-demand, so you can workout at any time you want. They also have express 10-minute classes if you’re looking for a quick burn. I used obé for the first month of quarantine and enjoyed it so much I ended up subscribing for another month. You can find free month codes all over the Internet and their instructors' Instagrams. Sign up for obé on their website.

3. Gabriella Whited – YouTube

Gabriella Whited is a singer and YouTuber who also posts fitness and workout videos. During the stay-at-home order, she posted her “Slim Thick Quarantine Series” which consists of 6 videos that each target different areas for a full-body workout (Abs, Legs, Booty, Waist, Arms, and Hips). After seeing her name at one of the top spots on my Instagram poll, I had to try it out for myself. I completed all 6 workouts that are approximately 6 minutes each. There is no equipment needed for her workouts, so I was skeptical. But wow, did I feel the burn. You can find the YouTube playlist with all 6-workout videos HERE.

4. Blogilates – YouTube and Tik Tok

Blogilates was founded by Cassey Ho over 10 years ago, and it is now the #1 female fitness channel on YouTube. Cassey boasts over 500 million views (and counting), and now over 5 million subscribers. I actually started seeing Cassey’s videos on Tik-Tok with her quick workout videos that targeted problem areas for me. While many influencers are creating their own workouts, Cassey is a certified Pilates mat and Reformer teacher.

Her videos are super fun and focus on toning and working the muscles with Pilates and use only equipment you can find in your home (like wine bottles). She also has multiple “challenge” playlists on YouTube that give you a complete guide to focusing your attention on your problem areas. Want to work your glutes? Cassey has a 30-day glute challenge for you. You can find Blogilates on YouTube HERE.

However you’re spending your quarantine, I hope you are happy and healthy. These workouts have truly helped me decompress from all of the stress during the quarantine, and hopefully, they can do the same for you!
