TikTok edition! Like many other millennials, I have become a TikTok fanatic thanks to boredom and quarantine. Judge me if you want, but I did find some fun activities and items to brighten up quarantine.
1. Black T-Shirts & Bleach Dye
This is probably the trendiest activity on TikTok during quarantine. Take any black or dark piece of clothing, and use rubber bands so it looks like you're about to tie dye. The catch is instead of using dye, you use a 1/2 bleach and 1/2 water mixture. Let it sit for about 30 minutes to an hour, wash, and you will have an edgy bleached shirt for a fraction of the price at expensive boutiques. My sisters and I used t-shirts for our first time bleach dying in case it did not work out and then had to make an amazon order for more because we got so many requests after we posted them on our Instagram stories. Watch our process on my TikTok!

2. Dual-Use Water Bottle
If you know me, then you know that I am constantly consuming Diet Coke. It's a bad habit I am trying to break, and when I saw this water bottle on TikTok, I knew I had to have it. There is a plastic separator in the middle of the water bottle, and the lid has two different straws attached. This way I could drink my Diet Coke and also balance it out with some H2O.

It is also useful for anyone who uses pre workout at the gym or wants to take their mixer and their alcohol to a party. This water bottle is versatile, easy to put together, and also comes in multiple colors. Get yours now on AMAZON.

3. e.l.f. Makeup Products
e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) makeup has been around for years, but TikTok is starting to recognize this brand's quality products that are affordable and accessible to a wider audience. I decided to run to Target so I could try some of their makeup, and e.l.f. did not disappoint. My personal favorite was the highly recommended "Luminous Putty Primer" that gives your skin a glowing look even after you put makeup on. The ingredients including hyaluronic acid and vegan collagen to brighten your skin. Their products are 100% vegan and cruelty free, and the average price points range between $1-$8. I also enjoyed their beauty blender and liquid eyeliner pencil. You can find e.l.f. products on their website, or check our your local Target.
4. PicsArt Photo & Video Editing App
This app has been used by many photo editors around the world, but thanks to TikTok videos and tutorials, it is making a comeback. I'm no VSCO girl, but I do love a cute edit with funky backgrounds. TikTok has a feature where you can "favorite" and save certain videos, and I use this tool to save videos with skills I want to learn. After downloading PicsArt, I watched my saved TikToks to give myself a tutorial on how to edit backgrounds, and I think the results turned out pretty cute! You can download PicsArt from the App Store!

5. Bathing Suits from Amazon
My most recent TikTok find was bathing suits from Amazon that I saw recommended by multiple Tik Tokers. Even though we are in quarantine, we can still sit in our yards and get some much needed tanning time! (Or in my case burning time because I am so fair skinned). When I look for bathing suits, I want them to cover areas where I'm self-conscious like my tummy, so I feel comfortable. I bought two high-waisted bathing suits for under $50. That includes the entire suit not just one top or bottom! They fit quite nicely, and they were delivered 2 days after I ordered them. I don't have any pictures of myself to post in them yet, but I will link them so you can check them out! Here is the link for my WHITE SNAKESKIN bathing suit and also the link for the NEON ORANGE bathing suit.
You can find me on TikTok @audpow! Make sure to look out for my 5 Faves next month! Enjoy!
