Hungry? Order from theses locally owned restaurants to help support them during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
New York City is one of the top foodie destinations in the world. There are so many locally owned restaurants that make NYC so special. The COVID-19 Pandemic has caused so much turmoil due to the Big Apple becoming the epicenter for the USA outbreak. If you're still in the city, I'm sure you're tired of eating the same microwaved meal every night. If you have the financial means during this difficult time and have a craving for some good eats, you should consider ordering from these delicious restaurants to help support small business.
1. Hummus Kitchen
Located in Hell's Kitchen, Upper East Side, and Murray Hill
If you want the best hummus and Mediterranean cuisine in New York City then Hummus Kitchen is the place for you. They have three locations, so wherever you are located in Manhattan you can find a spot that will deliver right to your door. The menu has a lot of variety, and with their trio options you can pick and choose what type of food you're in the mood for. My personal favorites are the falafel, classic hummus, and their delicious roasted cauliflower. Order online HERE, and they also deliver via ordering apps!

2. Empanada Mama
Located in Hell's Kitchen and the Lower East Side
If you're in the mood for Latin American food with fresh and natural ingredients then you should order from Empanada Mama. A lot of their food has a Columbian influence, but they also take inspiration from every part of Latin America with over 40 flavors of empanadas. I could eat a million of their cheese and chicken empanadas and never get tired of the fantastic flavors. Empanada Mama is fast, reliable, and right now, they are offering 15% off with pick up and delivery orders so it won't break the bank. Order online HERE!

3. Jacob's Pickles
Located on the Upper West Side
One of my favorite places in NYC for Southern comfort food is now delivering on delivery apps through GrubHub, Seamless, and Uber Eats. Their GIANT portion sizes are sure to keep you full for a couple of meals. My go-to order is the Honey Chicken and Pickles Sandwich that has the sweetest honey spread on their fried chicken. If you're wanting small bites then make sure to try the deviled eggs and fried pickles for a great Southern taste in New York City. Check out their menu HERE!

4. Centro Pizzeria
Located on the Upper East Side
This pizza spot is BY FAR my favorite place to order pizza in NYC. You can't go wrong with any pizza choice. If you like your pizza plain, stick with the cheese. If you're feeling adventurous then definitely try their spinach and artichoke, BBQ chicken, or their amazing vodka sauce pizza. It's worth mentioning that they have free delivery and 10% off your first online order via their website! Call in to place your order, order online HERE, or check them out on delivery apps.

I hope you're all safe and healthy during this pandemic. It is such a scary time right now for the world. So many people are out of work or trying to keep their jobs and businesses afloat, and any support to restaurants like these is helpful. Whether that is a "like" on Facebook or Instagram, or an online order, anything can make a difference.
